Day 3 - As usual, breakfast and we discussed where to go after checking out of the hotel. Initially thought of going around Seremban to see if there's anything interesting that we've missed out! But dad suggested straight to Melaka as he wanted to see the Bandar Hilir. So okay lor... drove to Mahkota parade to have our lunch there & then he said, let's head straight home. So we drove back home to Singapore from Mahkota Parade.

Day 2 - begins with okay-okay breakfast @0800hrs. 1st stop over was at The Eagle Ranch. Dad didn't want to go in as the weather was like kinda too hot for him. So skip that and drove to the lighthouse... there again, dad wanted to go to the Ostrich Farm straight instead . When we reached there, it was just on time for the ostrich race. Kinda cute seeing how the ostrich run. My mei-mei & my NZ1 too a ride on the ostrich (max weight limit - 75kg). I took the chance to stand on the ostrich egg too. Went back to the hotel as the men are going for the Friday prayers @ the nearby Mosque. Enjoyed the pool & sea after their return and again by 1830hrs we're all out to hunt for food. Went to the "ULEK MAYANG" for a sumptuous dinner. Food was DAMN GOOD!!!! I can see a few other Singapore cars parked there (after us) to have their dinner. Then went to another pasar malam (a different one) and headed back to hotel for a good zzzzzzz.

Wow that's interesting. Good news thoughAnd http://www.tiffanyandcooutlet.net/ Thank you for your sharing

Trip to Port Dickson, Malaysia (DAY 1)

Long waiting...
@ Tuas Checkpoint
Not moving huh?!
View all 47 photos...
[i]Left home around 0830hrs. Instead of driving all the way at the highway, hubby decided to take a drive along Melaka, since my dad wants to have a sea view and to see the "Pulau Besar" along the Klebang Beach in Melaka. We also drive thru Alor Gajah, where we saw many many cows and they're almost everywhere on the road. Ironically with the name there's no gajah (elephant). Anyway, after a very long drive, we finally arrived at our destination (The Selesa Beach Resort) around 1730hrs. Phew... it was a real looooong drive. Had a good rest till 1830hrs before we start moving again. Went to the town (thot of having dinner there) but it's not soooo happening, so we drive back to have a look at their pasar malam. WOW!!!! Besar kau... pasar malam dier.... Later we had dinner, continue with the shopping spree there and headed back to hotel @ 2340hrs. [i]

A DISCOVERY TRIP - BACK TO NATURE

We intended to drive up north in Ang Mo Kio for a cousin's wedding. Since we had some time to kill, we diverted ourselves to Macritchie Reservoir and then further up north into Old Upper Thomson Road ..... couldn't find a cool spot at the Lower Pierce Reservoir, so we proceed further along "Singapore's Old Motor Racing Track".

There was this sign at the gate that says something like "GATE WILL BE CLOSED AT 7.00PM DAILY". Curious, we ventured in and discovered that this interestng road leads to the Upper Pierce Reservoir Park. What we saw along the way was some things you don't normally see in this Urban Jungle nation. It's more than just a the Garden City we know of.

Initially we thought this long and winding road leads to nowhere as it is only in posh residences that you'll find such sight.

JOINT BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION WITH AUNTIE LYNNA

2 Bday gals celebration
This time NZ2 has a real Bday cake to cut
As if the "Pizza cake" wasn't enough for her, we bought an ice cream cake from Swensen's in West Mall. We arranged to meet Ardilina & their kids at Bukit Panjang Plaza to celebrate Lynna's birthday together. Later after dinner, we had bowling games before calling it a day.
